FLINT is seeking HSE Advisors - Night shift for a project-based role in Empress Alberta starting late June 2026 through October 2026. The scope includes heavy rigging mechanical and piping work critical lifts and pre-planning with primarily bolt-up piping and limited onsite welding. This position follows a 12 & 2 rotation with 10-hour days and offers a $165/day LOA.
What would you be doing
- Promote a strong Health Safety & Environment (HSE) culture among employees and subcontractors ensuring all activities align with company core values and safety standards.
- Monitoring critical lifts ( lbs) to ensure safe execution and adherence to lifting procedures.
- Supporting pre-planning activities to identify potential hazards and implement mitigation measures.
- Advising project teams on HSE best practices for bolt-up piping limited CWB welding and hydro shop work.
- Reviewing and enforcing compliance with company and regulatory safety policies.
- Participating in toolbox talks safety meetings and incident investigations if required.
- Monitor and report safety performance maintain accurate statistics and work with managers to address corrective actions and subcontractor compliance.
- Advise and train management and workers on health and safety legislation best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications :
- Previous experience supporting mechanical piping or industrial construction projects preferably involving heavy rigging or turnaround work.
- Strong understanding of safe work practices lift planning and field execution in industrial environments.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work in fast-paced project-driven settings.

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
