Job Summary

Position Overview

The Supply Chain Intern will support daily operations within the manufacturing plants supply chain function. This role involves hands-on experience in procurement logistics production planning and inventory management while contributing to projects that improve efficiency and data accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with tracking inventory levels conducting cycle counts and analyzing material variances.
  • Support the Supply Chain team through supplier communication order tracking and maintaining purchase documentation.
  • Assist in coordinating the movement of materials between departments to ensure timely production flow.
  • Compile and analyze supply chain data to identify trends discrepancies or improvement opportunities.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings with production logistics and quality.
  • Prepare reports spreadsheets and dashboards to support operational decisionmaking.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing waste improving accuracy or enhancing workflow efficiency.

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Operations Management or a related field at an accredited college or university.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic data analytics tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fastpaced manufacturing environment.
  • Intern must be local to the Auburn or Valparaiso Indiana location and will work onsite. Relocation is not available for this position. 

Learning Opportunities

  • Exposure to endtoend supply chain processes within a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and manufacturing operations.
  • Development of professional skills through collaboration with experienced supply chain and operations teams.
