Coordinador de Demanda y Abastecimiento

Location: Quito Ecuador (Hybrid)
Team Scope: Hybrid team based in Ecuador and Brazil
Reports to: Demand & Supply Planning Manager South America

We are looking for an experienced Demand & Supply Planning Coordinator to lead and coordinate a hybrid team responsible for demand forecasting production planning and international sourcing across South America. This role plays a key part in ensuring optimal inventory levels across all market warehouses in the region balancing service level cost efficiency and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop a hybrid Demand & Supply Planning team located in Ecuador and Brazil fostering collaboration accountability and high performance.

• Lead the demand forecasting process for South American markets ensuring accuracy and alignment with commercial marketing and finance teams.

• Translate demand plans into feasible supply and production plans for two regional manufacturing plants.

• Manage import planning from global manufacturing sites coordinating lead times capacities and logistics constraints.

• Ensure optimal inventory levels across all regional warehouses avoiding excess stock obsolescence and stock-outs.

• Monitor key supply chain KPIs such as forecast accuracy service level inventory turnover and production adherence.

• Identify risks and opportunities related to demand variability capacity constraints and supply disruptions proposing mitigation plans proactively.

• Act as a key interface between Supply Chain Manufacturing Commercial and Logistics teams.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives in demand planning supply planning and S&OP processes.

• Prepare and present analysis scenarios and recommendations to the Demand & Supply Planning Manager and regional stakeholders.

• Take a leadership role in S&OP and S&OE process

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Administration Supply Chain or related fields.

• Proven experience in demand planning supply planning or production planning within a multinational or regional environment.

• Previous experience leading or supervising teams preferably in a hybrid or multi-country setup.

• Strong knowledge of forecasting methodologies inventory management and production planning.

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and advanced Excel skills; knowledge of planning tools is a plus.

• Ability to work with cross-functional and multicultural teams across South America.

• Strong analytical communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Fluent English is required; Spanish is mandatory; Portuguese is a strong advantage.

• AI Machine learning Power BI are also advantage.

• Available for business travels.
