Job Summary
Job Summary:
The I&C Mechanical Maintenance Technician will perform proper diagnosis of any malfunctioning
machinery general repairs installing new equipment and systems and preventative maintenance
program on all assigned machinery

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Follow good housekeeping practices by keeping maintenance and tool storage area neat and clean as well as timely cleanup of work area after each job is completed
- Install new equipment or rearrange existing equipment
- Is available on call for emergency repairs as needed to keep plant in good running order
- Maintain preventative maintenance records and perform preventative maintenance on plant and road equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
Preferred:
- Instrument Controls and Mechanical Maintenance Experience
- Electrical panel board experience
- Motor Controls experience
- Positive displacements pump repair experience
- Trade school experience for electrical plumbing carpentry and/or mechanical repair is highly desired
Qualifications :
Education & Experience
Required
- High School Diploma G.E.D.
- Minimum of 1 year of Instrument and Controls OR mechanical repair and maintenance work experience
Preferred:
- At least 1 year of Electrical install repair and maintenance work experience to include electronic troubleshooting PLC programming and 480V 3 Phase electrical repair and maintenance experience
- Electrical Certification
- Mechanical / Rotating Equipment Maintenance and training
Working Conditions
- Ability and willingness to perform physical duties such as lifting climbing working at elevated heights and manual dexterity
- Ability and willingness to work in range of environments to include but not limited to industrial facilities manufacturing facilities and power industry facilities
