Job Summary

Anticipated Contract End Date/Length: June 2 2026
Work set up: Onsite in Telford or Worthing (SC eligibility required)

Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a SAP Senior Engagement Manager to lead and manage multiple SAP platform engagements supporting critical public sector projects. This role operates at the intersection of client relationship management project governance financial oversight and technical platform delivery ensuring seamless execution stakeholder alignment and commercial viability across complex SAP initiatives.

What you will do:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during SAP platform delivery initiatives.
Define and document scope objectives Statements of Work and deliverables in partnership with clients and technical teams.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans status updates and risk assessments using Microsoft Project and structured governance.
Manage senior stakeholder relationships across multiple business areas.
Coordinate resource allocation onboarding and performance management across project teams.
Manage engagement financials including actuals forecasts budgets and month-end reporting.
Manage risks issues scope costs timelines and overall delivery performance.
Facilitate regular progress reviews retrospectives and lessons learned sessions.
Drive quality assurance user acceptance testing and post-launch support.
Champion change management and adoption strategies to maximise platform value.
Report on key performance indicators and engagement outcomes to leadership.
Support both Time and Materials and Fixed Price commercial arrangements.
Mentor coach and influence team members to ensure high performance and collaboration.

Qualifications :

Strong experience managing SAP or enterprise platform engagements in complex environments.
Experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
Proven stakeholder management consulting and customer-facing skills.
Strong financial and commercial management experience with the ability to grow engagements.
Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as SAP ServiceNow custom solutions and third-party integrations.
Understanding of cloud services such as AWS Azure and GCP and migration strategies.
Knowledge of data management cybersecurity best practices and regulatory compliance.
Experience with DevOps CI/CD pipelines and platform operations.
Awareness of emerging technologies such as AI and machine learning.
Excellent communication mentoring and team collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and under own initiative.
SC eligibility required.
