Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Steward Supervisor to join our team in Baghdad Iraq. As a Steward Supervisor you will play a crucial role in overseeing the stewarding department ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency in our food and beverage outlets.
- Lead train and motivate a team of stewards fostering a collaborative and goal-oriented work environment
- Develop and implement efficient cleaning schedules and procedures for all kitchen areas dining rooms and banquet facilities
- Ensure compliance with health safety and sanitation regulations
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment placing orders as needed
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and organization standards
- Coordinate with other departments to support smooth service operations
- Handle employee scheduling performance evaluations and disciplinary actions when necessary
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during shifts
- Implement and maintain quality control measures for all stewarding activities
- Participate in budget planning and cost control for the stewarding department
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Steward Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within the food and beverage industry
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations and stewarding best practices
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Detail-oriented with a focus on cleanliness and organization
- Proficiency in inventory management and budget control
- Ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items stand and walk for extended periods
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service environments
- Problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions
