This role is focused on providing high-quality medical care to patients while collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals. The Staff Physician will play a key role in patient management documentation and compliance with medical protocols ensuring the best outcomes for patients.
Key Responsibilities
Provide highest standard of outpatient medical care to patients
Take responsibility for accurate charting and documentation
Manage cases for patients with chronic conditions
Consult with Medical Director on diagnosis or management problems
Arrange timely consultations with specialists
Participate in staff meetings and contribute to clinic improvement
Prescribe essential medicine to patients
Facilitate audits for compliance with State and Federal regulations
Serve as preceptor for medical students and Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant students
Participate in daily team meetings/huddles
Support nursing staff in implementing policies and procedures
Schedule and Shift Details
Willingness to work off hours and overtime to attend to patients.
Travel
Required to rotate between all the Health Clinics as needed.

- Valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
- Valid Medical Doctor (MD) in the state of California (CA)
- ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
- Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional (CCRP)
- American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
