Summary of the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Android AI Developer who will be instrumental in transforming requirements into products. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of product development from analysis and design to delivery and support. Your primary focus will be to integrate innovative software-hardware solutions ensuring seamless updates and enhancements to our Motorola products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Android applications and frameworks across various mobile device subsystems including requirements definition design testing and debugging.
- Implement on-device AI frameworks and libraries to enable real-time AI processing while ensuring efficient resource utilization.
- Architect and maintain scalable infrastructure for off-device AI processing by leveraging cloud services and distributed computing.
- Optimize AI algorithms and workflows to balance performance with computational resources and battery life on mobile devices.
- Collaborate effectively with product managers designers and other engineers to create AI-powered features that enhance user experiences.
- Remain informed about advancements in AI technologies and contribute to research initiatives aimed at innovation in mobile AI solutions.
- Support seamless integration of software updates and ensure timely Motorola app updates for an enriching user experience.
- Drive innovative solutions in software-hardware pairings to meet the needs of consumers globally.
Required Qualifications
Must-Have:
- Strong experience in developing Android applications or platforms from the ground up.
- Solid problem-solving abilities and systems design skills in the context of IT systems.
- Experience applying GoF design patterns in systems design for Android application and framework development.
Nice-to-Have:
- Exposure to on-device AI integration.
- Experience with off-device AI infrastructure and optimization of AI algorithms.
- Background in building AI applications would be a plus.
