What you will do:
Performs assigned system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools. Troubleshoots and resolves basic HVAC mechanical electrical to basic warranty calls.
Howyouwill do it:
Loads system-levelcontrollersoftware.
Performs basic commissioning and system diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices ( actuatorsetc.) and completes all required commissioning documentation.
Keeps management and JCIcontractororcustomerinformed of job progress and issues.
Calibrates systems requiring basic electronic test equipment.
Completes administrative tasks including but not limited to time sheets expense reports and on-site documentation.
Documentschangesandprovidesinformation for as-built documentation.
Communicates with the JCI contractor or customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site.
Follows all safety standards and attends required safety degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety.
What we look for
Required:
Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
Pursuing a degree in engineering or HVACor other technical degree
Currently a sophomore or higher status
Knowledgeable in the use of personal computers andtheappropriateapplications including Excel Word AutoCAD and PowerPoint.
U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Havestrong communicationskills and the ability to work within a team
Energetic and driven attitude - you do what it takes to get the task completed
Good organizational andproblem-solvingskills
Ability to passa backgroundcheckand drug screening
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $21.00 - $24.00 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education experience knowledgeskills and abilities of the applicant internal equity location and alignment with market data.)
