Technical Safety Analyst - SAS CAMO
At SAS CAMO safety and compliance are at the core of everything we this role you will be part of a highly trusted function working under the direction of the Head of Safety Quality Control & Training (STOOM-Q). Together we ensure that SAS operates in full conformity with safety regulations internal standards and authority requirements while continuously striving to raise our safety performance even further.
Our mission is to monitor and safeguard compliance across Safety Quality Systems Manuals Training and Certificates and to support the organization in promoting a strong and sustainable safety culture.
Challenges you will work on
- Promoting safety across the organization and monitoring training compliance and effectiveness through KPIs and follow-up
- Monitor analyze and continuously improve SAS safety level
- Plan organize and develop safety promotion and staff safety training
- Perform required investigations & inspections with timely and correct information
- Review new authority requirements and ensure that activities generated when they are implemented are coordinated and followed up.
- Plan and organize revisions of SAS CAMO procedure manuals.
The team
The team supports the wider CAMO organization in safety and compliance matters providing guidance contributing to investigations and ensuring that manuals and instructions meet applicable regulations. You will join a small close-knit team where independence initiative and accountability are key working closely with other departments across SAS and confidently raising and addressing safety-related issues when needed.
To be successful we believe you have
- Good knowledge of civil aviation regulation especially EASA Part M/CAMO and Part 145
- Engineering or relevant aviation background
- Experience of airline technical operations
- Experience in quality management or auditing
- Good computer literacy; experience with AMOS and the IQSMS system is considered an advantage
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally (approximately four times per year with occasional overnight stays or day trips)
