Job Summary

POSITION: Senate Campaigns Research Associate (2 openings)

LOCATION: Washington DC

American Bridge 21st Century PAC a progressive research and communications organization dedicated to holding Republicans accountable for their words and actions is hiring a Research Associate to join our Senate Campaigns research team for the 2026 election cycle. This position is based in our Washington DC office.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Working as part of a team to produce comprehensive opposition research products on Republican candidates in competitive races across the country;

  • Collecting information from legislative votes news clips campaign finance reports financial and legal records and research databases;

  • Reporting results and findings to senior staff;

  • Performing rapid response research projects in key electoral races;

  • Read candidate tracking reports and identify newsworthy events;

  • Other duties as needed.

Skills and qualifications required:

  • Organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines a must;

  • Strong commitment to teamwork;

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

  • Self-motivation the ability to work independently and exercise discretion and independent judgment;

  • Experience with primary source documents and research databases such as LexisNexis is preferred.

  • Enjoy working closely with others of diverse backgrounds and personalities.

  • Previous political research experience is preferred.

We offer a competitive salary starting at $65000 for this position and a strong benefits package.

AB PAC is a union employer. This position is in the bargaining unit.
