Job Summary

N-iX is looking for a Middle Python Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development and maintenance of scalable web applications. You will work closely with other developers product owners and designers to deliver reliable well-structured backend solutions.

Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain backend services using Python and Django.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with frontend applications.
Work with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL MySQL) and optimize queries.
Implement authentication authorization and data-security best practices.
Write clean maintainable and well-tested code.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards.
Debug troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and deliver features.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

23 years of professional experience with Python.
Solid hands-on experience with Django (Django REST Framework is a plus).
Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
Good understanding of relational databases and SQL.
Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
Understanding of web fundamentals (HTTP JSON authentication).
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP).
Ability to write unit tests and work with existing test suites.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
English Upper-Intermediate
