The Wayfarer DTLA a Tapestry Collection by Hilton is looking for a dynamic Room Attendant to join the team! The Room Attendant will be instrumental in making a great first impression for our guests! They are responsible for cleaning rooms hallways and other areas as assigned and complying with Company standards.
Situated in downtown Los Angeles on the corner of South Flower and 8thStreetThe Wayfarer DTLAis perfectly placed to capture a number of varying markets. With unique food & beverage offerings including a top-notch rooftop bar and a full event and activation program for all of the outlets The Wayfarer is primed for opportunity from both local residents in downtown as well as travelers to the city center. The Wayfarer has a fun lifestyle and irreverent feel to it. This design forward hotel will elevate the independent and ever curious traveler experience through a variety of flexible andsocial public spaces local art installations and interactive touches that entice one to dig deeper and truly experience the destination.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:
Maintain a friendly cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times while providing personalized service to hotel guests.
Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
Clean guest rooms to Company standards including but not limited to making beds dusting vacuuming cleaning bathrooms completely wiping down walls etc.
Clean rooms within the minutes-per-room guideline established by the Executive Housekeeper and General Manager.
Follow Company policy for room amenities.
Turn in all items left in guestroom to manager immediately.
Maintain complete security of master room key. Return the key at the end of shift.
Never leave the property with key.
Report any maintenance items that need immediate attention.
Assist with laundry as needed.
Report any missing/found articles or damage to the Executive Housekeeper.
Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.
Perform other duties as assigned requested or deemed necessary by management.
