Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experiencedSoftware Quality Managerto lead our quality engineering efforts in Bangalore. This leadership role is critical to advancing Resideos global software ecosystem ensuring our cloud mobile and embedded platforms meet the highest standards of reliability performance and security. You will lead a team of quality engineers drive tactical initiatives and implement advanced quality frameworks leveragingAI agentsandModel-Centric Platforms (MCPs).
Key Responsibilities
Quality Strategy & Engineering Governance
- Establish and execute a comprehensive quality framework across cloud mobile web and AI systems.
- Define and monitor global software quality KPIs (e.g. uptime defect density MTTR reliability) to align engineering outcomes with business goals.
- IntegrateAI-driven testingAI agents andMCPsinto quality workflows for proactive validation and intelligent automation.
- Drive continuous verification and early issue detection across the software lifecycle.
Process Excellence & Compliance
- Develop and enforce robust quality control processes and standards across development and release cycles.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for systemic issues.
- Create review and present Test Strategies and Impact Analysis to the wider-org.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives using agile methodologies.
- Optimize software validation strategies including automated testing performance benchmarking and scalability assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process enhancements.
Team Leadership & Talent Development
- Lead mentor and grow a team of software quality engineers in Bangalore and across global locations.
- Foster a culture of technical excellence accountability and innovation.
- Drive change management initiatives to support engineering transformation and agile adoption.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Bachelors degree in computer science Software Engineering or a related technical field.
- 9 years of experience in software quality engineering with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in cloud-based software validation DevOps CI/CD and agile development environments
- Strong understanding of quality management systems compliance frameworks and software testing methodologies and experience in testing IOT devices.
- Hands-on experience withAI-based testing toolsAI agents andModel-Centric Platforms (MCPs).
- Excellent communication leadership and stakeholder management skills.
