Job Summary

Description

This position is primarily for educational or religious purposes and should be used for providing valuable educational experiences for the Intern. It is to give the Intern an opportunity to see how principles and practices learned in their educational institutions are applied in actual work setting. Under general supervision the Intern performs work as assigned by the department.



Responsibilities

Responsibilities may vary by assignment depending on department and need. The Intern receives assignments from supervising staff. The Manager reviews the Interns work occasionally. The supervisor reviews each assignment as it is completed. The Intern is expected to meet rigid and challenging deadlines work in harmony with other people take direction on each assignment and give full attention to detail. Independence in working tact and diplomacy are required. Sound judgment of Church doctrine history organization policy and protocol are also expected.

  • Provide Tier-2 technical support via email chat support ticketing systems and virtual meetings.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues escalating when appropriate with clear documentation.
  • Maintain reliable and efficient communication across support tiers to ensure streamlined workflows and consistent customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with product managers software developers and other support teams to clarify issues provide context and drive resolution.
  • Help end users understand and effectively use S&I applications by explaining solutions in clear user-friendly language.
  • Create review and maintain knowledge base articles and support documentation for the S&I Support website.
  • Moderate and respond to questions in community forums as assigned.
  • Maintain professional work habits by demonstrating accountability timely communication and active participation in meetings.
  • Assist in support efforts by actively participating in projects as assigned by management.


Qualifications

Paid Interns are qualified while enrolled in an educational institution and for one year following graduation. They must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter.

Other Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university or graduated within the past year.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel Word and Outlook.
  • Experience with support ticketing or case management systems (ServiceNow experience preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new software and technical concepts quickly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on explaining technical information clearly to non-technical users.
  • Self-motivated dependable and detail-oriented.
  • Collaborative team player with a willingness to ask questions and contribute ideas.
