Job Description:

Major Job Functions

• Trouble shooting equipment and perform equipment repairs in a field environment
• Interface with customers products and sales support
• Working with the Supervisor on various tasks
• Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements
• Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment
• Various related duties as required

**Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current Collective Agreement**

Specific Skills & Experience

• Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification (Interprovincial Red Seal preferred)
• Demonstrated troubleshooting experience specifically on CAT equipment
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills both written and verbal
• Understanding of the Caterpillar product line will be considered an asset
• Experience with Power Systems and/or Marine equipment is an asset.
• Transmission or Hydraulic testing would be considered an asset
• Previous gas engine and power generation experience wouldbe considered an asset

This role will be working in the field primarily in Sechelt and surrounding area.

• Please be advised the successful candidate for thisposition will reside in Sechelt/Sunshine Coast
• A condition of employment may include the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol fitness testing) and wear a respiratorwhere applicable
• Drevers Abstract (5 year)
