Job Summary
Were expanding our offering in Perth airport and want you to join our journey! Youll have the chance to work across our stores café and bar a great opportunity to continuously develop and become a true all-rounder! Start with us in March 2026!
As a Perth Team member (Level 1 GRIA) youll provide exceptional customer service and work independently or as part of a team to deliver our fantastic store standards across our Café F&B and Retail stores. We want you our customers and our colleagues to be proud to share their journey with us.
What working at Perth Airport is all about:
- Serve food and beverages to required standards
- Prepare and serve Barista Style coffee
- Follow food safety hygiene grooming and cleanliness procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of all retail and hospitality areas in line with company policies
- Stock handling
- Support team in achieving sales and Average Transaction Value (ATV) targets
- Work collaboratively to deliver high quality service
- Comply with workplace health and safety and company policies at all times
- Perform additional duties as reasonably requested
- Serve customers promptly and courteously across all sites operated by WHSmith at Perth Airport.
- Operate POS system and handle cash accurately
- Assist with merchandising stock replenishment rotation and goods receiving
What our Stores would love to see:
- Experience in a food and/or retail environment with café or bar experience being advantageous
- Knowledge of busy food outlet operations with a focus on sales and service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility with work hours including weekends and public holidays
