Job Summary

Role Title: Technology Lawyer Commercial Contracts AI & Cyber

Location/Office Policy: Dublin/Hybrid

What is the Role:

Lead complex technology contracting and help shape the future of legal support for AIBs digital transformation. Youll thrive in a fast-paced environment mentoring others and driving operational excellence. The role is based in Dublin and is central to AIBs digital and operational strategy

Key accountabilities;

Lead drafting and negotiation of complex technology and commercial agreements (software SaaS cloud outsourcing/MSAs) embedding regulatory and AI controls.
Advise on AI governance and cyber resilience partnering with Cyber/IT teams and business stakeholders.
Support third-party risk and supplier management ensuring robust contractual frameworks and playbooks.
Develop and maintain clause baselines playbooks and measurable KPIs (cycle time backlog).
Mentor and supervise coach peers and set high standards for delivery and accountability.
Represent Legal at senior fora.
Champion continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Expert up-to-date knowledge of technology commercial AI and cyber law ensuring practical and compliant legal advice.

Ownership of outcomes upholding high standards and communicating with clarity and integrity.
Customer-centric approach building effective relationships and delivering solutions that benefit clients and communities.
Drive for continuous improvement by encouraging new ideas creative thinking and diverse perspectives.
Qualified Solicitor/Lawyer (Ireland/UK) with 7 years PQE in technology law/commercial contracts including complex negotiations.
Strong track record across SaaS/cloud/outsourcing experience of AI governance and cyber; confident advising on DORA/EBA Outsourcing and GDPR/data issues.
Evidenced leadership in mentoring quality assurance and operational excellence (templates playbooks MI).
