Job Summary

IQVIA in partnership with our client are excited to announce that we are seeking candidates for the role of National Field Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a team of 10 DMD Account Managers for an approved product for the treatment of Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

The National Field Manager will act as the primary link between the client and IQVIA to manage the entire spectrum of the IQVIA deliverables. They will oversee and manage program governance and will work cross functionally across IQVIA and the client(s) to ensure alignment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Four-year college degree (B.A. B.S. or equivalent) required.
  • Minimum five (5) years combined previous management experience at the District Regional National level required.
  • Account Managementexperience in a multidisciplinary setting required
  • Valid drivers license required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience sellingand managing selling in rare disease required; neuromuscular productspreferred and Duchenne muscular dystrophy preferred
  • Experience working with astart-up or high growthorganization preferred
  • Experience navigating and coaching a team around the various complexities of Rare Disease treatments
  • Demonstrated ability to assemble and lead cross-functional teams toward a shared vision of success
  • Experience managing patient enrollment process for rare disease products and assisting direct reports with how to work with office staff to help support and simplify process
  • Demonstrated ability to execute against strategic and tactical plans under tight timelines
  • Demonstrated ability to present ideas effectively to individuals or groups targeting presentation to the needs of the audience
  • Experience working with a start-up or high growth organization
  • Entrepreneurial spirit solution-oriented approach to the business

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Recruit interview and select DMD Account Managers
  • Handle performance reviews personnel issues discipline and termination of Sales Representatives
  • Project Leader/Manager shall make regular field visits: to develop and motivate Sales Representatives for attainment of sales objectives; to assess and monitor field activity and work schedules; and to monitor and manage field reporting by Sales Representatives including call reporting
  • Generate sales in line with project goals as set by Client and agreed upon by IQVIA
  • Communicate with Client field/regional managers on regular and timely basis
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of training and periodic sales meetings
  • Review and approve expense reports; monitor compliance with expense policies
  • Act as the primary link between the Client and IQVIA for all operational and human resources/personnel needs relating to the Sales Force
  • Provide monthly reports to the Client
  • Monitor compliance with Promotional Program and proper use of Promotional Materials and Promotional Expense Budgets
  • Monitor time-keeping and attendance
  • Ability to travel overnight and possess a valid drivers license to drive toassigned accounts unless otherwise specified
