Computer Technician I

2025/2026 School Year

8 hours per day

235 days per year

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each performance responsibility and its associated duty in a satisfactory qualification requirements listed are representative of the knowledge skills and/or abilities required.

High school diploma or equivalent
Degree in Information Technology or appropriate experience in computer and other technology use configuration setup and repair to equal two (2) years.
A certification preferred
Demonstrates communication and public relations skills
Valid New Mexico drivers license with insurable driving record.

Position Goal

Provides technician level computer support for the district technology department. Major systems are Microsoft Windows 7 Operating Systems Apple hardware and software Microsoft Office software district approved software programs printer installations and troubleshooting wired and wireless network protocols phone systems internet information services E-mail and district technology hardware.
