TheVascular Access Team (VAT)is composed of experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) from various clinical backgrounds who work together to provide exceptional care to adult and pediatric patients. As a consulting service for The Johns Hopkins Hospital we provide assessments management and education of all things vascular access. Our four distinct services are: adult VAT pediatric VAT adult PICCs and pediatric PICCs. We train our nurses to place IVs midlines and PICC lines; manage routine and complex central line dressings; and provide emergent access as part of the code response team. We work closely together relying on our unique skills to provide excellent service in a team-oriented environment. IV experience is required for permanent night shift positions.

***Nurses hired with an Associates degreein nursing must enroll in an accredited BSN/MSN program within 1 year of hire and complete the degree within 5 years of your start date.

Salary Range: Minimum 38.49/hour - Maximum 59.66/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
