Job Description
Saint LukesSouth in Overland Parkis seekinga Patient Access Representativeto join our team. You willconduct professional patient interviews obtaining demographic financial and biographical information.This position is responsible for the delivery of quality performance and service excellence.
Shift Details:Monday 6:00pm-6:00am
Responsibilities:
Understands insurance terminology
Obtains information to appropriately bill payors
Verifies patientinsurance eligibility
Confirms benefits eligibility
Gather statistical information in compliance with federal andstateregulations
Completes payment transactions by using proper negotiating techniques to professional collect money owed by our Patients and Guarantors
Makes referrals toappropriate financialresources such as payment plans and lines of credit
