This includes all routing switching and LAN/WAN/SD-WAN components as well as ensuring optimal network performance this role you will work closely with outsourcing partner architects and outsourcing ops teams to plan and implement network solutions that meet our business needs and technical standards. You will serve as the companys technical lead for data network technologies representing our interests in discussions with the outsourcer and vendors ensuring the network architecture is high-performing resilient and aligned with best practices. Strong experience with Cisco networking is required (CCNP-level proficiency) and familiarity with Azure cloud networking services (virtual networks VPN/ExpressRoute) is highly preferred for hybrid network ResponsibilitiesNetwork Architecture & DesignDesign LAN/WAN/SDWAN architectures using OSPF/BGP and resilient switching for campus and branch site connectivity via SDWAN broadband wireless and satellite to ensure high diagrams and technical specs supporting current and future network Collaboration & Outsourcer OversightPartner with outsourcer architects / vendor engineers to align standards and and approve proposed routing switching and WAN designs for compliance and quality across providerled Implementation & TroubleshootingGuide outsourcers deploying Cisco switches SDWAN appliances and Meraki detailed requirements for changes and lead resolution of complex OptimizationIdentify and resolve performance constraints using monitoring routing and WLAN configs to drive low latency high throughput and Cloud NetworkingArchitect secure Azure connectivity using VPNs gateways and hybrid WAN Azure services (VNETs Firewall etc.) in alignment with architecture Security & ComplianceDesign segmentation ACLs and firewall placements to protect critical configurations and support audits and ensure security standards You: Knowledge Skills and Abilities 10 years of hands-on experience in network engineering/architecture with a track record of designing and implementing LAN/WAN/SD-WAN networks with CCNP-level knowledge. Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field is preferred (or equivalent work experience).
