$5000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible full-time and part-time new employees joining UW Medicine
UW Medical Center - Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for ICU Nurse Residency/Transition to Practice.This ICU Residency/Transition to Practice will be with Montlakes four ICU Departments and will commenceMay 18 2026. You must have an Active WA RN license or valid Multistate RN license no later than May 8 2026 to be eligible.
WORK SCHEDULE
- 90% FTE
- Night and variable shifts.
Listed below are the four hiring ICU Departments accepting applications for these opportunities:
Surgical ICU This is a 14 bed unit. Patient population includes direct recovery for ICU surgical cases and liver transplants.
Medical ICU. This is a 24 bed unit. Patient population on this unit includes medical ICU cases and Bone Marrow Transplant.
Cardiothoracic ICU This is a 24 bed unit. Patient population includes cardiac and thoracic surgery patients vascular heart and lung transplant MCS VV ECLS and TAVR.
CCU ICUThis is a 21-bed unit. Patient population includes acute heart failure mechanical circulatory support pre heart transplant patients and post-cardiac cath lab procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
Top candidates for this opportunity have at least two years of registered nursing experience in an acute care environment. *** If nursing resident must have ICU Senior Practicum experience ICU Clinicals or have worked in an ICU Department in another health care provider role i.e. PCT MA Health Unit Coordinator. BLS and ACLS within six months of hire.
