Job Summary
POSITION: Presidential Research Associate
LOCATION: Washington DC
AB PAC a progressive research and communications organization dedicated to holding Republicans accountable for their words and actions is hiring a Research Associate to join our Presidential Research Team for the 2026 cycle. This position is based in our Washington DC office.
Primary Responsibilities:
Working as part of a team to produce comprehensive opposition research products on the administration and 2028 presidential candidates;
Collecting information from public sources including news clips campaign finance reports financial and legal records legislative votes and research databases;
Reporting results and findings to senior staff;
Performing rapid response research projects; and
Other duties as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines;
Strong commitment to teamwork;
Excellent written and verbal communications skills;
Self-motivation and the ability to work independently and exercise discretion and independent judgment;
Experience with primary-source documents and research databases such as LexisNexis is preferred; and
Previous political research experience is preferred.

We offer a competitive salary starting at $65000 for this position and a strong benefits package.
