Sterile Processing Tech

Position Overview
The Sterile Processing Technician plays a critical role in supporting safe efficient surgical care in a high-volume ambulatory surgery center. This position requires strong attention to detail a team-first mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination cleaning inspection assembly sterilization and distribution of surgical instruments and trays according to AAMI standards manufacturer IFUs and facility policies

• Accurately assemble case carts and instrument sets to support on-time starts and efficient room turnover

• Operate and monitor sterilization equipment (steam low-temperature etc.) ensuring proper documentation and quality assurance

• Identify troubleshoot and communicate instrument issues missing items or repairs proactively

• Maintain a clean organized and compliant sterile processing environment

• Collaborate closely with OR staff leadership and fellow technicians to meet daily case volume demands

• Participate in continuous improvement efforts focused on efficiency safety and team performance

• Adhere to all infection prevention safety and regulatory requirements

Schedule & Work Environment

• Hours: MondayFriday 11:00 AM 7:00 PM

• No weekends or holidays

• Q4 may require overtime due to increased surgical volume

• Fast-paced high-volume ambulatory surgery center setting
