As our Freight Audit Supervisor you are responsible for ensuring accurate auditing and payment of FTL LTL Parcel and Brokerage/Customs invoices collaborating with our 3rd party audit company engaging with vendors to ensure updates are provided and discrepancies are challenged engaging with A/P maintaining rules and rates and driving automation and continuous improvement within the process.

Your main focus:

• Champion relationships with our carrier partners and 3rd party vendor acting as the key point of contact

• Drive world class freight audit and payment processes and supporting the day-to-day execution
• Understand Domestic USA and North American Transport auditing processes and invoice flow
• Ensure Coty carriers understand and follow Coty Standards and procedures
• Make sure all invoices are processed in a timely manner and carriers are paid within terms
• Work in close collaboration with all Freight Audit stakeholders
• Ensure all stakeholders and operations teams are timely informed of any issue that can impact operations and relations with our transport service providers
• Ensure invoices are moving through the process and take quick action in case there are any issues to avoid late payments
• Make sure Coty carriers are informed of any actions that are pending on them with clear instructions
• Ensure re-occurring issues are root caused identified and corrective action is taken
• Carrier queries emails to be replied in a timely manner
• Ensure statements of account are accurate provided to carriers regularly and outstanding challenges are addressed
• Ensure remittance information is provided to carriers timely
• Prepare and present the Freight audit overview to drive Carrier performance in the Monthly reviews
• Ensure Freight audit KPIs are being met
• Ensure Freight Audit Payment & Claims Manager is informed in time of any risks or potential escalations and assist on managing escalations
• Manage and update Freight Audit reports
• Onboard new Coty carriers to the program including system set up and on-boarding
• Assisting with the creation of standard operating procedures maintaining the play book; auditing of SOPs.
• Driving automation initiatives by partnering with your manager and Engineering team.

The team consists of Transportation professionals working closely together with several departments such as Procurement A/P Finance DC and Transportation Operations. All your colleagues are driven to succeed and improve each day.

Essential:

• 3 years of related freight auditor experinence in a supply chain role
• Undergraduate degree required. MBA a plus
• Self-driven
• Has a continuous improvement mind-set
• Leadership capability
• Highly organized
• Advanced skills with Excel
• Excellent communication skills
• Follows up aggressively

Desirable:

• Experience with freight audit and payment
• Must be autonomous decisive strategic thinking
• Good knowledge of excel and cursory knowledge of Power BI Power Automate SQL Python
