Job Summary:

This full-time position requires approximately 40-45 hours per week and involves a blend of project management strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities. If you thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment this opportunity is ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage large-scale groundwater monitoring programs and remediation projects at industrial facilities.
Manage small-scale soil gas and indoor air monitoring programs at industrial facilities.
Interact with various state agencies to optimize and revise monitoring programs as necessary.
Scope cost plan schedule execute and report for assigned projects.
Manage subcontractors prepare purchase orders and approve vendor invoices.
Manage staff and assign resources to complete project tasks within budget and on schedule.
Develop work plans and health & safety plans.
Coordinate with regulatory agencies subcontractors clients and other stakeholders to execute site investigation and remediation projects.
Oversee and perform field investigations that may include reconnaissance mapping and multi-media sampling (air water soil).
Oversee remediation construction projects including leading field teams in completion of remediation work.
Maintain client Trihydro and regulatory health & safety standards and perform regular field project health & safety audits.
Manage and evaluate data for regulatory compliance with local state and federal standards.
Prepare site restoration investigation summary remedy implementation performance monitoring permit compliance and site closure reports.

Qualifications:

A bachelors degree in geology engineering or a related field (California professional registration is a plus).
8-15 years of relevant project management experience.
Strong technical and problem-solving skills as well as attention to detail and accuracy.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Initiative to complete project deliverables on schedule and within budget.
An interest in mentoring junior staff.
Working knowledge of health & safety best practices and a commitment to safe operations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word Excel and PowerPoint and conversant with Microsoft Project or equivalent project scheduling packages.
The ability to grasp scientific concepts and apply them to different technical challenges.
A clean driving record
Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.
