Key Responsibilities:
- Manage large-scale groundwater monitoring programs and remediation projects at industrial facilities.
- Manage small-scale soil gas and indoor air monitoring programs at industrial facilities.
- Interact with various state agencies to optimize and revise monitoring programs as necessary.
- Scope cost plan schedule execute and report for assigned projects.
- Manage subcontractors prepare purchase orders and approve vendor invoices.
- Manage staff and assign resources to complete project tasks within budget and on schedule.
- Develop work plans and health & safety plans.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies subcontractors clients and other stakeholders to execute site investigation and remediation projects.
- Oversee and perform field investigations that may include reconnaissance mapping and multi-media sampling (air water soil).
- Oversee remediation construction projects including leading field teams in completion of remediation work.
- Maintain client Trihydro and regulatory health & safety standards and perform regular field project health & safety audits.
- Manage and evaluate data for regulatory compliance with local state and federal standards.
- Prepare site restoration investigation summary remedy implementation performance monitoring permit compliance and site closure reports.
Qualifications:
- A bachelors degree in geology engineering or a related field (California professional registration is a plus).
- 8-15 years of relevant project management experience.
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills as well as attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Initiative to complete project deliverables on schedule and within budget.
- An interest in mentoring junior staff.
- Working knowledge of health & safety best practices and a commitment to safe operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word Excel and PowerPoint and conversant with Microsoft Project or equivalent project scheduling packages.
- The ability to grasp scientific concepts and apply them to different technical challenges.
- A clean driving record
- Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.
