Roles and Responsibilities:
Actively participate in the definition of the GE Aerospaces long-term strategy collaborating with the sourcing team
Lead the scouting of new suppliers based on the commodity strategy and the risk assessments of new and existing supply base
Develop and execute a detailed plan for transfer of work that supports the strategic direction and accelerates business growth with detailed actions plans utilizing FLIGHT DECK
Lead & influence cross functional teams to deliver the transfer of work plan
Work with suppliers to develop industrialization plans and Key Performance Indicators to ensure on time delivery and reduce future business impact
Work with internal functions to feed into the Sales and Operations planning cycle to ensure transition on plans protect the business delivery by developing dual source and supply transition plans between suppliers
Work seamlessly with the Sourcing procurement and fulfilment teams to ensure an integrated approach in the transfer of work and delivery of strategic and business priorities
Own and lead the transfer-of-work management of change process / Toll Gate Process. Work cross functionally with internal stake holders to ensure a successful transition in all aspects Safety Quality Delivery & Cost
Support the GE Aerospaces Sourcing team with strategic priorities as and when required.
Essential Requirements:
Experience in:
regulatory environment
manufacturing planning and manufacturing processes systems and management
quality procedures in a regulated manufacturing industry namely Defence and Aerospace Aviation Automotive manufacturing or similar
experience of project and/or programme management.

Self-directed and able to operate with minimal business guidance and support
Have proven technical knowledge of products and processes
Proven analytical and organizational skills
Strong oral and written communication on skills
Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
Must have UK Driving license youll be able to travel to suppliers can be up-to approximately 20-25% travel.
