What You Will Do:

• Help translate complex business requirements into technical designs and solutions using ServiceNow.

• Lead the development of ServiceNow applications ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to other ServiceNow developers.

• Develop configure and enhance ServiceNow applications.

• Stay current with ServiceNow products features and industry trends to drive innovation.

• Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations for improving existing ServiceNow implementations.

• Conduct reviews of functionality developed by ServiceNow development team and perform unit system and integration testing.

• Debug and fix technical problems.

• Support the development of detailed technical and functional documentation.

• Provide demonstrations of developed applications to product owners and end users.

• Participate in platform upgrade activities including regression testing and reconfiguration.

• Ensure the security scalability and maintainability of ServiceNow solutions.

What You Will Need:

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD SECRET security clearance; candidates must obtain an approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.

• Minimum of FOUR (4) years of ServiceNow experience.

• A bachelors Degree is required.

• Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies deliverables and controls.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Expertise in ServiceNow Modules such as GRC SPM and ITSM as well as with App Engine and Scoped Apps.

• Experience with web services integration specifically Mid-Server SOAP and REST preferred.

• Strong experience with scripting (JavaScript Glide AngularJS) Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.

• Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies deliverables and controls.

• Experience working in an Agile environment.

• Strong analytical problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and establish rapport with a diverse array of people at all levels.

• Ability to self-direct prioritize and manage multiple tasks and demands.

• Heightened attention to detail when developing technical solutions.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Experience with ServiceNow automated testing framework (ATF).

• Ability to commute to client or corporate offices within the Washington DC metropolitan area 2-3 days per week.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science. Information Technology or Business.

• ServiceNow certifications (e.g. CSA CIS CAD)

• Experience with web services integration specifically Mid-Server SOAP and REST preferred.

• Agile SCRUM or SAFe certifications.

• General understanding of financial management aspects (i.e. financial operations financial innovation internal control risk management etc.) particularly in a federal environment.

• Candidates with an ACTIVE SECRET or higher-level clearance are preferred.
