The Test Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the full testing lifecycle across projects ensuring testing activities are wellplanned executed efficiently and aligned with organisational standards and business requirements. Operating with a high degree of autonomy the Test Manager uses strong professional judgement to shape testing strategies manage resources and influence delivery quality. The role also includes significant leadership responsibilitiesdriving innovation guiding teams through change managing competing priorities and contributing to longterm strategic planning.
The Test Manager leads the timely delivery of all testing outcomes and ensures the quality of testing processes by estimating test effort allocating resources and planning developing and managing different types of testing across various stages and platforms. The role involves preparing and reviewing complex test cases technical documents and reports as well as providing subjectmatter expertise to ensure system functionality aligns with business requirements. The Test Manager monitors work output against performance standards interprets quality data manages risks and assists with financial and resource planning. They collaborate closely with project teams and stakeholders to ensure appropriate testing methodologies and tools are applied while reporting progress against project a leadership capacity the Test Manager coaches and mentors team members adapts to change manages competing priorities and develops longterm plans aligned with business priorities. The role requires strategic thinking evidencebased decisionmaking effective communication and the ability to negotiate and tailor messaging to different audiences.
Qualifications :
- Extensive experience managing testing activities across complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies test lifecycle management tools and frameworks.
- Proven ability to estimate test effort allocate resources and oversee multiple testing phases.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data and produce highquality reporting and documentation.
- Strong decisionmaking skills with the ability to work independently under broad guidance.
- Experience leading and mentoring teams managing performance and navigating organisational change.
- Excellent communication stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
