About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join our internal IT team in Adelaide. This is a critical in-house role responsible for supporting the core technology that DyFlex runs on. As Mark moves into his new promotion we need a senior pair of hands to manage our Microsoft stack Azure cloud and a nationwide support network. You will be the primary technical lead for our internal infrastructure working closely with our IT support teams in Perth and Sydney. This role is perfect for a systems veteran who wants the stability of an in-house role with the high-tech challenge of a growing SAP Platinum Partner.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Manage and optimise our primary Microsoft ecosystem including Windows Server Active Directory and M365.
• Lead the technical execution of our cybersecurity uplift focusing on MS Defender and Essential 8 maturity.
• Drive infrastructure automation across the business by developing and maintaining complex PowerShell scripts.
• Architect and scale our Azure environment (IaaS/PaaS) to support our growing national team.
• Act as the final escalation point for complex Level 3 technical issues across the national IT team.
• Oversee network integrity and security managing firewalls and ensuring high availability for all remote users.
• Support our transition toward ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance through rigorous documentation and system hardening.
• Maintain and monitor our mixed environment including our SUSE Linux instances used for internal projects.

Your qualifications and experience:

• 4 years of senior-level experience in systems administration or infrastructure engineering.
• Expertise in the Microsoft stack with deep knowledge of Windows Server 2022 and Azure administration.
• Proven ability to use PowerShell for automation and reducing manual administrative overhead.
• Hands-on experience with cybersecurity frameworks specifically the ASD Essential Eight.
• Background in network administration including firewall management and basic switching/routing.
• Experience or strong interest in supporting Linux (SUSE) within a predominantly Windows environment.
• Strong leadership qualities to mentor junior support staff and collaborate with the national team.
