Education
Bachelors Degree Information Systems or relevant technical field or 4 years relevant experience in lieu of a degree. (Required)
Experience
6 months experience providing system management and support for all aspects of the end user experience. This includes but is not limited to:
Microsoft Windows based computers
Mobile devices (IOS Android Other TBD)
Desktop applications
Virtual applications
Systems deployment engineering and management:
- desktop management
- systems updates and patches
- application updates and patches and/or
- user management.
Microsoft Active Directory
Group policy administration (GPO)
enterprise print management
Microsoft KMS
Microsoft Remote Desktop Services
Microsoft SCCM
Microsoft AppV
Microsoft Intune
personal data storage
departmental shared storage and/or
Logmein for remote support. (Required) and
6 months experience with VMware Horizon VDI UEM (Airwatch) Workspace RDS hosted apps (Preferred) or
6 months experience with Citrix Xenapp and/or Xendesktop (Preferred) or
6 months experience End Point Security administration this can include but is not limited to:
Microsoft Bitlocker
Microsoft Defender
McAfee epo for dlp and whole disk encryption
Cylance
Symantec VIP
Imprivata OneSign and/or
Absolute software. (Preferred)
Licenses and Certification
MCSA - Microsoft Certified System Administrator or MSCE (Preferred) Or
VMware VCP (Preferred) Or
Citrix Certification such as CCA CCE or CCP (Preferred)
What You Will Do
Provide technical assistance to other team members other ITS teams and end users.
Work with application vendor to resolve issues
Provide on call after hours support.
Provide Enterprise Client Systems Management support of End User Computing environments that support heterogeneous Operating Systems including Microsoft Windows.
Device OS updates and patches
End Point Security Detection and Resolution and updates
Applications update and patch
System policy changes
Virtual Systems Administration and Management
Virtual systems update and patch management
Virtual systems configuration
Virtual application support
Thin client configuration management for VDI
EUC web portal system update and management.
System management design and implementation
Design client templated systems for virtualized environments
Develop automated scripts to roll out application solutions
Develop new solutions to meet customer requirements.
Vendor and Customer Support
Work with application vendor to resolve issues
Provide technical assistance to other team members other ITS teams and end users
Provide on call after hours support.
