We currently have afantastic opportunityfor a Lead Data & AI Architectto join our growing Group Data & AIOffice (GDAIO). Responsible for enhancing the effectiveness of how data is used across Royal London. The function provides Data Strategy Data Management and Analytics capabilities. TheLeadData& AIArchitect plays a critical leadership role responsible for bringing best practice inData& AIarchitecture and emerging technology trends to support the execution of theGroupsData& AI Strategy.

In this role you will be:

• Accountable forGDAIOsponsoredData& AIplatformarchitecturesunderpinning criticalbusiness outcomes.

• Providing oversight and alignment of Data & AI solutions aligned to the execution of the Groups Data & AI Strategy on behalf of the Chief Data & AI Officer.

• Key contributor to thereferencedata architecture target state includingmaintainingkey architectural viewpoints (Data Management AnalyticsAIand Decisioning).

• Working with the Head of Data Strategyand Head of Data Transformationonshowing how DataCapabilitiesunderpinningcriticalbusiness outcomesare being enabled throughenterprise dataviewpoints.

• Promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within GDAIO for architectural principlesdesignsand patterns.

• Contributing to significantly upskilling key stakeholders on data literacy data& AIarchitecturesand data commercialisation.

• Work closely with key stakeholders in ourGroupArchitecture function to ensurematerialdesigns stay aligned to the Data & AI strategyas well assitting onexisting architectureapprovalboards.

• Building strong business relationships with key stakeholders to understand their current challenges and be a champion for delivering a data& analyticsarchitecture to solve their problems and democratise dataassets.

What will you bring to the role

• Extensiveenterprise data architectureexperience preferably in UKFinancialServices.

• Experience of designing data architecturesto improvecustomer master data management insights &advancedanalytics(AI / ML) anddecisioningto support personalisation.

• Strong knowledge of Data& AItechnology and concepts includingAzureDatabricks/ Medallion ArchitectureAzure AI Foundry Copilot Studio Microsoft Fabric / SnowflakePowerBI Event Driven Architecture APIM Party-basedMDMDecisioning engines and citizen AI tools like M365 Copilot

• Demonstrable knowledge ofPredictive AIRAGarchitectures supporting GenAI and Customer Next Best Action Triggers and Prompts.

• Proventrack recordof leading Data Architecture teams with embedded Partnerson multi-vendor programmes and matrix led engagements.

• Strong and demonstrable specialist knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworkstrendsand standards for example TOGAF
