Job Purpose
Preparation and execution of a broad range of accounting assignments in the field of tax accounting:
- Prepare and analyze consolidated tax reporting (current and deferred tax positions; tax contingencies; tax burden; loss compensation)
- Monitor posting and/or prepare and post journal entries for tax positions in HFM
- Prepare parts of country-by-country reporting
- Participate in projects regarding tax accounting
- Participate in departmental projects

- Participate in projects regarding tax accounting
- Participate in departmental projects
Experience
- This job requires an experienced accountant (4-6 years) with expertise in the area of IFRS.
- Knowledge and expertise with tax accounting is required. The analysis of the tax positions as reported by local entities should be analyzed on the back of sufficient knowledge of tax accounting and tax accounting under IFRS to be able to identify possible misstatements
- A solid financial background is necessary in order to be able to monitor and handle complex (consolidated) tax accounting issues.
- Good communication skills are required for many contacts with accounting staff and controllers globally.
- The Code of Insider Trading is applicable to this job. The job requires observing high ethical standards.
- Perform accounting on University level by education or experience
- Extensive experience in accounting and reporting
- Well informed on IFRS standards and webFEM especially in the field of tax accounting
- Knowledge of Oracle/HFM and MerlinXL is an advantage
- Flexible hands-on self-starter/problem solver
