Job Summary

Job Title: Cloud Engineer

Role Purpose

Design implement and manage secure scalable and cost-effective cloud infrastructure aligned with enterprise banking standards security requirements and governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Design build and maintain cloud infrastructure environments across public and hybrid cloud platforms
Implement and enforce cloud security governance and compliance controls in line with enterprise and regulatory standards
Monitor optimize and continuously improve cloud performance availability and cost efficiency
Collaborate with application security and DevOps teams to support cloud-based solutions and migrations
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and perform root cause analysis to ensure system stability
Maintain documentation for cloud architectures configurations and operational procedures

Required Experience & Skills

Minimum 5 years experience in infrastructure cloud engineering or platform engineering roles
Hands-on experience with AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Strong understanding of cloud networking compute storage and identity management concepts
Experience implementing security controls within cloud environments preferably in financial services
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate in enterprise regulated environments
Experience supporting high-availability and mission-critical systems

Nice to Have

Experience within banking or financial services environments
Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform CloudFormation or ARM templates
Familiarity with cost management monitoring and optimization tools
Cloud certifications (e.g. AWS Azure or GCP certifications)
