Job Purpose
The primary purpose of the Regional Planning Process Coach to implement the global supply planning process via our Advanced Planning Transformation (APT) Program that should be performed across supply planning functional and business unit boundaries in the region. He/she is responsible to roll out best practices and process standards to be applied within the Supply planning functions.
The role receives benchmarking and process maturity advice from Process Excellence Manager Supply and coordinates improvement in all or any of the Supply planning functions. He/She is responsible to implement the global process design pilot for APT as well as ensure that the requirement Maturity criteria are embedded and improved via one of that APT maturity Criteria programs.
Objectives
The role is a key role in driving the Advanced Planning Transformation aiming to improve our supply planning processes to enabled optimized results in Service Level Inventory position and Costs in our Supply Chain.
The key objective of the Planning Process Coach is to drive maturity in the supply planning teams. Maturity is expressed in Master Data quality process adherence and building capability in working with the new processes and system.
High-quality stakeholder management (many and highly diverse stakeholders) is essential. A standardized and uniform approach across regions is required to enable the APT objectives to its fullest.
- Manage Supply Planning project for different Deco / Coating BU.
- Implement finished goods/Raw Materials/Semi-Finished Goods supply planning processes to be supported by current available tools.
- Plan and drive activities to move from current planning procedures to the newly designed or designed planning processes.
- Develop supply planning team capabilities
- Anticipate transformation risks and issues propose mitigation actions and escalate when appropriate.
- Ensure a good communication and integration with demand/Bus manufacturing procurement logistics and finance
Key Accountabilities
On a regional scale for all Paints & Coatings BUs and all Supply Regions the Process Coach enables as part of the team of Regional Planning Transformation:
Implement & deployment of processes governance systems (SAP APS and big data analytics) Masterdata and capability building in Planning.
Monitor and facilitate regional IBP process (RCCP SMR etc.)
Drive supply planning maturity program cross-BU.
Facilitate process co-design with global COE Design as focal point to the regional Planning team.
Drives touchless planning through correct Master data and their further automation.
Identify and manage key risks in the transition
Ensure transition and management of stakeholders and team members as seamless as possible
Lead the hypercare and stabilization of the team and processes after the transition
Support delivering BU supply chain KPIs (Inventory LV process SLOB 3Cetc.).
Support Process governance of One Label Program.
Key Performance Indicators:
Production : PSP Supply bias
Service: on time and in full targets (OTIF).
DIO / DOH : Inventory levels maintain correct stock balance whilst adhering to operating working capital targets in days and in value
SLOBs: manage SLOBs with proactive reduction once there and preventive not to generate them
Experience
Years of experience: 5-15 years in Supply Chain
Qualifications: MSc in Planning/Supply Chain Engineering Data Science Econometrics or Business Administration.
Previous experience in: Demand planning Supply Planning and S&OP / IBP; demonstrated hands-on impact in operations planning and hands-on exposure to IT/ERP related projects
Certification in supply chain expertise (such as APICS CPIM / CSCP) and improvement (such as CI Lead Practitioner Agile). Experience in project and program management.
Effective influencing communication and engagement skills
Pro-active autonomous result driven and target oriented execution of role while being a strong team player and knowing how to effectively engage with peers.
Strong experience in end-to-end performance measurement identification & application of error metrics root-cause analysis etc.
Commercial understanding and business acumen. Experience to facilitate the overall company optimum.
Strong analytical and lateral thinking skills
Cross-functional and cross-cultural sensitivity adaptability and experience
Ability to influence senior management as well as peer level: cross-function Operational teams and COE teams.
Excellent written presentation and verbal skills
Business Orientation Change Management & Building Capability
Detailed and in depth understanding of ERP system set up (SAP) planning & production master data fields
Background in Advanced Planning Systems (APS) or demonstrated basic skills set to quickly learn and master APS.
Background in big data analytics and platforms or demonstrated basic skills set to quickly learn and master this.
