Job Summary

About the Role:
Deliver high-quality instruction in English Language and/or Literature preparing students for Cambridge or Edexcel examinations with strong analytical writing and exam skills.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver structured lessons aligned with Cambridge / Edexcel syllabi
- Teach language skills (reading writing comprehension analysis) and/or literary texts
- Prepare lesson plans worksheets and exam-focused activities
- Conduct regular assessments mock exams and provide written feedback
- Track student progress and report academic performance to parents/coordinator
- Support exam preparation: past paper practice marking schemes examiner reports
- Maintain classroom discipline and professional conduct
- Attend academic meetings training sessions and parent consultations when required
Requirements:
- Degree in English / Education or related field
- Proven experience teaching IGCSE / AS / A Level English
- Strong written and spoken English
- Familiarity with Cambridge or Pearson Edexcel assessment styles
