Job Overview

A premium functional and wellness-based fitness studio is seeking an energetic skilled and highly motivated Fitness Coach / Group Exercise Coach to join its growing team.

We are looking for professionals who are passionate about movement coaching and client experience. The ideal candidate will be confident in group training possess personal training skills and demonstrate professionalism teamwork and a strong work ethic.

This opportunity is open to Personal Trainers Group Exercise Coaches and Functional Training Coaches.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest coaching and service standards as set by studio guidelines

• Coach a minimum of 3 group classes per day (expected average: 4 classes/day)

• Deliver group fitness classes and one-to-one personal training sessions

• Provide high-quality service to existing and potential members

• Maintain a safe clean and organized training environment

• Demonstrate exercises and movement patterns clearly and effectively

• Correct technique to minimize injury risk and improve performance

• Offer regressions and progressions for different fitness levels

• Monitor client progress and adapt programs when needed

• Enforce safety rules and proper use of fitness equipment

• Contribute positively to team culture and studio growth

Required Qualifications Skills & Experience

• Minimum 23 years of experience as a Group Fitness Coach and/or Personal Trainer

• Recognized fitness certifications (ACE NASM ACSM CrossFit L1 Functional Training Dance Pilates Gymnastics or equivalent)

• CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Strong understanding of functional training and group coaching principles

• Ability to lead engaging safe and effective group sessions

• Excellent communication and motivational skills

• Professional punctual and responsible attitude

• Team-oriented with a continuous learning mindset

• Flexible positive and proactive personality

Additional Requirement Kids Instructor

The studio is specifically looking for candidates who can also work with children in addition to adult group classes.

Kids coaching experience may include (but is not limited to):

• Functional training for kids

• Kids fitness & movement classes

• Ballet

• Dance

• Gymnastics

• Motor skill development programs

Requirements for Kids Instructor role:

• Prior experience working with children

• Ability to create fun safe and structured sessions

• Strong communication and patience with kids

• Background in sports dance gymnastics or functional movement is a plus

Note: Coaches without kids experience may still apply for adult PT/GX roles.
Candidates with kids coaching experience will be prioritized.
