Job Summary
Job Title: Cloud Engineer
Role Purpose
Design implement and manage secure scalable and cost-effective cloud infrastructure aligned with enterprise banking standards security requirements and governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Design build and maintain cloud infrastructure environments across public and hybrid cloud platforms
- Implement and enforce cloud security governance and compliance controls in line with enterprise and regulatory standards
- Monitor optimize and continuously improve cloud performance availability and cost efficiency
- Collaborate with application security and DevOps teams to support cloud-based solutions and migrations
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
- Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and perform root cause analysis to ensure system stability
- Maintain documentation for cloud architectures configurations and operational procedures
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 5 years experience in infrastructure cloud engineering or platform engineering roles
- Hands-on experience with AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Strong understanding of cloud networking compute storage and identity management concepts
- Experience implementing security controls within cloud environments preferably in financial services
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate in enterprise regulated environments
- Experience supporting high-availability and mission-critical systems
Nice to Have
- Experience within banking or financial services environments
- Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform CloudFormation or ARM templates
- Familiarity with cost management monitoring and optimization tools
- Cloud certifications (e.g. AWS Azure or GCP certifications)
