We are currently seeking a talented Health Writer to join our team on a part-time remote basis.
Position Overview:
As a Health Writer you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content related to the healthcare industry. This may include articles blog posts social media posts and other written materials. You will work closely with our team to research and develop content that is accurate timely and relevant to our clients and their patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on various health-related topics and stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments
- Write high-quality engaging content for our clients websites blogs and social media platforms
- Collaborate with our team to develop content strategies and ensure consistency in messaging and branding
- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy and adherence to style guidelines
- Use SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines
- Stay informed on best practices for online content creation and adapt strategies as needed
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to understand their needs and preferences for content
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Journalism English Communications or a related field
- 2 years of experience in health writing or a similar role
- Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail
- Knowledge of SEO and content optimization strategies
- Familiarity with AP Style and other writing guidelines
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for healthcare and a desire to educate and inform others about health-related topics
