Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills a strong work ethic and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. As an Administrative Assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting our daily operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of our office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to various departments and senior management
- Answer and direct phone calls take messages and respond to inquiries
- Manage and maintain schedules appointments and travel arrangements for executives
- Prepare and distribute correspondence memos and reports
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic files
- Coordinate meetings and events including setting up conference calls and video conferences
- Monitor and order office supplies
- Assist with the preparation of presentations and documents
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and documents
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business administration or related field is an asset
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional and friendly demeanor
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
