Santaluz Animal Care is a progressive Fear Free-focused hospital in North County San Diego and we are ready to elevate our rehabilitation services with an experienced Rehab Veterinarian who wants real impact real autonomy and a team that actually listens.

This is not a side service squeezed between wellness exams. This is a chance to lead shape and grow a dedicated rehabilitation program with the support tools and respect it deserves.
What Youll Do
- Perform in-depth rehabilitation evaluations and create individualized treatment plans
- Deliver advanced rehab therapies including therapeutic exercise laser
- hydrotherapy PEMF and other modalities
- Track patient progress and refine care plans for optimal outcomes
- Collaborate closely with veterinarians technicians and support staff
- Educate clients with clarity and confidence so they stay engaged in the rehab process
- Maintain thorough compliant medical records
What Were Looking For
- DVM or VMD from an accredited veterinary school
- Active California veterinary license or ability to obtain prior to start
- Hands-on experience in veterinary rehabilitation or physical therapy
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset
- Comfort working independently while still valuing collaboration
Bonus Points
- CCRP CCRT or equivalent rehabilitation certification
- Experience building or expanding a rehab program
- Interest in mentoring and developing team members
