Job Role & Responsibilities
A hands-on Night Shift Engineer role within a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment focused on keeping production running smoothly through effective reactive and planned maintenance.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out reactive and planned maintenance on food processing and packaging machinery
-
Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults on production equipment
-
Support line start-ups changeovers and overall night shift operations
-
Complete PPM schedules and engineering documentation accurately
-
Work in line with health safety food hygiene and site procedures
The Ideal Candidate will have
-
Time-served experience or a Level 3 qualification (Electrical Mechanical or Multi-Skilled)
-
Background in FMCG or food manufacturing environments
-
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to work independently and confidently on night shifts
-
Solid understanding of health safety and hygiene standards
Desirable Skills
-
Multi-skilled engineering capability
-
Experience with continuous improvement or reliability-focused maintenance
-
Familiarity with modern manufacturing equipment and systems

4 on 4 off night shift pattern (18:0006:00)
