Essential Responsibilities
Assistin the blasting process by safely installing detonator caps and boosters at the correct stem height
Operate skid steer efficiently to fill blast holes with crush or drill cuttings
Perform physical tasks in outdoor conditions including standing bending and kneeling
Operate skid steer or rock truck to support safe and effective blasting operations
Communicate clearly and work collaboratively with team members across multiple disciplines
Qualifications
Previousexperience in mining or heavy equipment operations is an
Familiarity with machinery such as skid steer and rock truck preferred
Positive attitude witha strong desireto learn and grow in your career
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol testing
Valid MSHA P. 48 with surface metal and non metalis desired but not
Work Conditions
4days on with3days off working11.5hourdays
Overtime rates apply after40hoursper week and are paid at time and a half
Living out allowance provided for those who qualify
Extended Health & Wellness Benefits provided
Site based position working primarily outdoors and in various weatherconditionswiththe opportunity for long term employment
