Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled SAS Developer with strong expertise in SAS Data Integration (DI) to design develop and maintain data integration solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAS programming ETL development and working with large-scale data systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design develop and maintain ETL workflows using SAS Data Integration (SAS DI Studio)
Develop and optimize SAS programs (Base SAS SQL) for data extraction transformation and loading
Work with multiple data sources including RDBMS flat files and external systems
Perform data validation data quality checks and reconciliation
Optimize SAS jobs for performance and scalability
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements
Ensure compliance with coding standards documentation and best practices
Support production issues enhancements and scheduled batch jobs
Required Skills & Expertise
35 years of hands-on experience as a SAS Developer
Strong expertise in SAS Data Integration (SAS DI Studio)
Proficient in Base SAS SAS SQL Macros
Experience with ETL development and data warehousing concepts
Good understanding of data modeling and data flows
Experience working with databases (Oracle SQL Server Teradata etc.)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good to Have
Experience in Banking / Financial Services / AML / Risk domain
Exposure to SAS Management Console and scheduling tools
Knowledge of Unix/Linux environment
Experience with performance tuning and optimization
Education
Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science
