We are looking for a Project Management Trainee to gain hands-on experience in managing delivery projects from start to finish including engineering design documentation quality planning manufacturing installation and this role you will support Project Managers and Engineers working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects meet technical requirements and contractual obligations. The focus of your tasks can be tailored toward either project management or project engineering depending on your background and interests.
Your Role
As a Project Management Trainee you will assist in planning coordinating and executing delivery projects while gaining insight into real-world project workflows in an international engineering environment. This role provides exposure to multiple aspects of project execution helping you develop practical skills that are highly valued in engineering and project management careers.
Your responsibilities will include:
Project support: Assist Project Managers in planning scheduling and executing project tasks
Team coordination: Delegate and coordinate tasks with engineering and documentation teams
Schedule management: Help ensure project schedules are maintained and milestones are met
Technical support: Respond to technical inquiries during project execution
Site and commissioning planning: Support site work and commissioning preparation
Documentation management: Update and maintain engineering documentation across Evac IT systems
What Will Help You Succeed
Education: . or . student (3rd year or higher) in Engineering (Shipbuilding Mechanical Process Engineering or related fields)
Technical knowledge: Ability to learn technical solutions related to Evac products and technology; basic understanding of delivery project business processes
Software skills: Basic understanding of CAD software
Customer focus: Strong customer service mindset for internal and external stakeholders
Communication: Proficient in English; additional languages are a plus
Interpersonal skills: Strong communication and teamwork abilities capable of working in an international environment
Advantages: Previous experience in ship design process engineering or waste systems is a plus
