Job Summary
Union Chappel is a Christ-centered church with deep roots and a hopeful vision for the future. We are a community that values Scripture prayer intergenerational discipleship and worship that is both reverent and alive. Our Contemporary Worship service exists to help people encounter God grow as disciples and engage the mission of Jesus in everyday life.
Union Chappel is looking for a passionate Jesus-centered Worship Leader to help shape a vibrant Contemporary Worship ministry. This role is ideal for an experienced leader or worship pastor who loves leading worship and developing people. Youll lead from the platform invest in volunteers and partner with pastoral leadership to build worship that forms disciples and reaches the next generation.
Tasks
* Lead and rehearse the Contemporary Worship Band for weekly services.
* Plan worship services aligned with sermon themes and church vision.
* Recruit train and mentor musicians vocalists and future worship leaders.
* Build and guide a Youth Band in partnership with Youth Ministry.
* Foster a healthy prayerful and relational worship team culture.
* Collaborate with sound and tech teams to support excellent worship experiences.
Requirements
* A growing follower of Jesus who sees worship as ministry not performance.
* A relational leader who enjoys coaching mentoring and building teams.
* Musically grounded with strong instincts for song selection and flow.
* Organized flexible and excited to grow as a worship leader and shepherd.
* Comfortable with Planning Center and MultiTracks (or eager to learn).
* Able to translate Scripture and themes into meaningful musical moments.
