As a Locum MD/DO you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating a diverse patient population ensuring they receive the highest standard of medical care. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and medical histories
- Diagnose and develop treatment plans for various medical conditions
- Prescribe medications and monitor patient responses
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
- Educate patients about health management and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Participate in ongoing medical education and training
- Adhere to medical protocols and ethical standards of practice
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Current board certification in Internal Medicine
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Georgia
- Experience in a clinical setting preferably in Internal Medicine
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
Schedule: 8a-4p 4 days per week
Setting: Outpatient clinic
Patient Census: 17 per day
Team Structure: 3 additional physicians 1 APP
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
