We are seeking highly qualified C2 Watchstanders to join our team in support of U.S. Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp this critical role you will provide Installation Protection support across the full spectrum of operationsfrom preparation (pre-incident) through response to recovery.
This position supports command and control (C2) decision processes and communicates vital information to multiple stakeholders including Fire and Emergency Services (F&ES) Anti-Terrorism (AT) Emergency Management (EM) Law Enforcement/Security and Chemical Biological Nuclear Radiological and Explosive (CBRNE) functions. You will execute a comprehensive operations management process to mitigate risk to critical assets and direct facilitate and coordinate operations support resources during both daily and crisis operations.

KEY POSITION DETAILS
Schedule: 24/7 shift work with multiple shift options available
Location: On-site at Camp Pendleton CAservices are performed on-site and are mission essential
Travel: Local/regional travel may be required but represents less than 5% of time
Work Environment: Operations center environment with classified space; requires ability to maintain alertness during extended shifts
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain 24/7 information flow and prepare briefs for Commander and Government representatives in accordance with operational requirements
Provide oral and written responses and briefings to subordinate commands leadership Installation EOCs and inter-agency partners
Monitor and track RDOC equipment status and provide immediate Chain of Command notification per SOPs and CCIRs
Support Crisis Action Team operations and C4I Suite information management systems in the Operations Center
Manage Automated Message Handling System (AMHS) traffic RDOC access control and compliance with security procedures and Information Assurance requirements
Execute Continuity of Operations (COOP) procedures and maintain emergency displacement proficiency
Prepare reports Executive Summaries position papers and Requests for Support for Government personnel review and approval
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of military experience (active duty Reserve or National Guard)
Minimum 5 years of experience in a DoD or DHS operations center state/local command center or communications center environment
Recent relevant experience in operations management for federal or state organizations
Education:
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution (any field of study)
Training & Certifications:
FEMA Course ICS 100: Introduction to the Incident Command System (ICS)
FEMA Course ICS 200: ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents
FEMA Course IS-700: National Incident Management System (NIMS)
FEMA Course IS-800.A: National Response Plan (NRP)
Security Clearance:
Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance required
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications
Experience with mass notification systems secure email telephones and Secure Video Teleconferencing (SVTC)
Ability to operate in both SIPR and NIPR environments
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) service background
Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) or experience in law enforcement base emergency management or incident response
Familiarity with Marine Corps Installation Command (MCICOM) organization and mission
Experience with C4I systems and command center technologies

Knowledge of USMC/DoD organization missions policies Title 10 responsibilities and chain of command
Ability to analyze information make recommendations under rapidly changing conditions and articulate complex issues both verbally and in writing
